tHeRe's n0 pLace liKe hOme... =(

this will be my first christmas here in chicago.. it definitely will be a white christmas for me, coz in a few days time, i know it will be snowing na.. actually it had started snowing during the first week of december, but then, flurries lang..

i know it is wrong to say this, but i still can't feel the spirit of Christmas.. maybe because Christmas in the Philippines is no comparison to any other in the world... i really miss waking up early for simbang gabi, the puto bungbong, and everything else.. i also miss my friends back home... here i go again... senti na naman... =( i really want to go home na...

even though i know that there are more opportunities for me here in the states, i'm still not convinced to stay here for good... i'll just save for my future then probably go home na...

i know there are a lot of Filipinos who really want to go here in the US... i know that i should be grateful coz i was fortunate enough to be staying here with my family, but then, i'm not happy... i'm not saying that i don't want to be with my family, pero sana nandun na lang kami s Phils.. sad ang buhay dito e... do you know that i don't have enough friends here?!?!? yeah! it's true... unlike back home, dami kong friends... dami ko nakakausap, share stories with, share my problems and happiness with... do you know what a typical day for me here is? well, i wake up at 6:30 am, eat breakfast, take a shower, prepare for work and leave at 7:30 hoping to catch the bus.. then transfer naman sa red line train.. then when i get off at Lake station, i have to transfer to green line train naman and get off at Ashland station, where my workplace is located.. then i work from 9 am-3 pm.. then from 5:45-9 pm, i go to school.. after that, i go home na.. i arrive at aroung 9:30-10 pm sa bahay, eat dinner, iron my clothes for the next day, check my mail, then sleep na... so boring huh??? kaya nga gustong gusto ko na umuwi e...

i really really wanna go home na... but i feel so helpless, coz i know my family wants me to stay here with them....

there really is no place like home...i'll never stay here for good... one day, i know, i'll be leaving this place and go back to place where i truly belong...
