Yummy calamari!!!
Haha! Don't you love how those two words rhyme?
On my way home yesterday, friend A called me up askin me where am I.. (I dropped by earlier in their office to pick-up my dad and I wasn't able to bid goodbye to him coz dad was really in a hurry..) I told him I'm on my way to the subway. He told me we might go out or just hang out at their place. He said he'll call me when I reach home. At around 7 the phone rang and it was friend D telling me that friend B's on his way to pick me up and we'll have dinner at their place. She even asked my mom's permission. Haha! When we hung up, I just took the very first shirt I saw on my closet, put on my jacket and my Nike tiki thongs. In a few minutes, friend B called up my cell telling me he's already waiting downstairs.
Friend B and I had to drop by at Costco to buy some beer and flour coz friend D was gonna cook calamari. We didn't know that they do not have the ones in smaller bag or box so we ended up buying a sack of flour! Hahaha! I told friend B it was gonna last for a year na. Hahaha!
When we reached the
residence, they were almost through eating. Friend B and I were the last batch. Haha! Friend D prepared pork chops, there was bagoong with calamansi and some jalapenos and tomatoes, mixed fried rice, and friend B bought some shrimps and hot and sour soup... Yummm!!!
After dinner, M, B, A and I went up to hang out and do our thing. Hahaha! It was so cold outside.. And it was raining as well... From outside, we could smell the calamari D was cooking... A and B said they were going in for a while so they left him and I outside.. After quite a while, we couldn't stand the cold anymore so we went in too.
The calamari tasted so good! So crunchy! We sat at their dining area and exchanged kwentos while listening to good music.. We were laughing lang the whole time while A was telling us how
the guy was trying really hard to speak tagalog the other night.. =) We told him nga na we wanted to hear him e.. He said a few words.. Sobrang tagal before ma-complete yun one sentence.. But it's cute! Hahaha!
Believe me, once in a while we had to do this because of the stress at work.. We were wondering nga e, kc here, after work, we really have no time na to go barhopping or just hang out and have coffee.. Weekends lang namin yun nagagawa.. Unlike back home, pwede pa.. Maybe because here, we don't have any maids... And here, parang ang bilis ng oras...
B, C and I left the
residence at around 3:15 am. I just had 3 bottles of Miller and a Heineken. On our way out, you know what? There were cops doing the rounds again... Remember how I got so nervous when they saw
him and I on the stairway? Hahaha!
We had to drop off C first coz B lives near us lang.. And he was sleepy na, so if he'll drop me off first, mejo long drive pa from C's place. I was talking nga the whole time e, para di makatulog si friend B. Hahaha! I told him to text me when he gets home, and he told me to text C that I got home na..
When I reached the bedroom, I texted C. After a few minutes, B texted me na telling me he got home safely naman.. I know I replied pa to both of them e... Basta, I don't know na what I told them. I fell asleep na pala... And when I woke up, I was still holding my cell. Hahaha!
You know what we did to the sack of flour? We divided the flour to ourselves and had to put it on a ziplock. I was so sleepy na last night to put my share sa kitchen, so I just left it sa may doorway. When dad saw it this morning, he said, "Where the hell have you been? Hahaha!" They said I seemed to have come from a refugee center. There was also some pan de sal from the Filipino store pala with my plastic bag last night.. Relief goods talaga yun dating! Hahaha!
Anyway, had a great time last night...
