46th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show

I spent the whole day at the beach last Sunday... Friend B picked me up at around 9 am and we parked the car downtown..We took the bus going to North Avenue Beach since it's not really advisable to park the car nearby because parking in the immediate area is virtually non-existent. The city were expecting 2 million people to witness the said event. We chose a nice spot a few meters away from Lake Michigan. The air and water show in Chicago is one of the countries best. Planes are visible from the ground all over the city, but the show is best viewed from North Avenue Beach. =)This event is one of those which Chicagoans look forward to. We all agreed that the Blue Angels squadron were the best!



If I had known that it was gonna be really hot that day, I should've worn my bathing suit.. When I checked for the temperature earlier, it was 50's, and besides it was quite chilly even inside the apartment, so I chose to wear my fave pink shirt.. As a result..... Voila!!! Cath got an uneven tan.. My arms look horrible upto this day... How sad...

After we left the beach, we went straight to Tita Eleanor's place just to drop off the kids.. But they told us to stay coz they already ordered some food for merienda.. So we ended up eating pizza, french fries, chicken from KFC, and yummy gyoza courtesy of Elliot.. Sarap grabe! I think I ate 10 gyozas.. hahaha!!! We also had a blast with their magic mic.. The songs I sang that night were, Friend Of Mine, Somewhere Down The Road, A Smile In Your Heart, I'll Never Love This Way Again.. Paalam Na.. hahaha! Yeah,yeah.. I know.. all mushy songs...

You know what's weird? My dad didn't even notice how sunog my skin was when I got home that night.. He noticed it the next day when i dropped by his office.. Hay.. How I wish it starts to peel off.. I need your suggestions.. What's the best lotion or ointment I'd use so it will start to peel off very soon..
