"Hawaiian Night..."



Last week, my boss gave me tickets to the fund raising of the Confraternity of Our Lady of Peñafrancia.. It was a dinner dance affair with "hawaiian" as the event's motiff.. I brought Jam, my sister along with me.I should have worn something much better than what I had that night, but hello!!!! It was so cold that night.So I just opted to wear my floral blouse, and I just wore my accessories to go with it..(",)
They served sotanghon, pasta, fried chicken, roast beef sandwich, fruits, salads, and for dessert, leche flan & pichi-pichi.
Danced the night away.. Swing.. woohoo!!! It's been quite a while since I last danced...
Mark Pagatpatan was there, and belted out some songs.. He's really good now.. Jam was excited when she saw him.. (",)

Bowling @ Waveland...
Last Sunday, the friends came over.. We were undecided whether we should watch a movie, or play bowling.. We first went to AMC and checked if THE GRUDGE was already showing, but to our dismay, hindi pa.. So we just decided to go bowling. Good thing, the movie house is just near Waveland.. The place is much better than The Manor where we played last month to celebrate Ritzel's birthday.. It was cosmic night! We had lots of fun..(",)


Blurry No More...

Yup, my dear friends,, welcome me into the club.. I am now officially wearing eyeglasses.. Huhuhu!!! Sad but true... It all started last month, when I was trying to view our cable guide, the list of TV shows seem so blurry.. So I had to see an optometrist..He told me that I really needed help... So, here I am now...

New Maid...
No, we didn't hire one.. Do you know that I actually cleaned almost the entire house today??? Yup, you heard it right.. I started in the kitchen, I washed all the dirty dishes.. Arranged some stuff.. Swept the floor.. Scubbed the floor..Wiped it with 409 Orange Power.. Next stop was the dining room...Then, the living room..Vacuum...Fixed the picture frames.. Next was my jungle.. (a.k.a. my closet) Whewww!!! I guess ganito ako pag depressed...

Sad na naman...
I am depressed again... Some personal reasons... I hope I'd feel better soon..

Hi friends.. Sorry if i haven't been blogging regularly.. It's just that, whenever i reach home, i'd be so exhausted na.. But i'll try this time to at least blog every week.. My God! FOUR SEASONS...winter, spring, summer or FALL

If there are some things that I have to be grateful for being here in the US, one of them is having the chance to witness the FOUR SEASONS... Right now, it is the autumn season. It's just amazing how nature works.. Right now, the leaves from the trees and other plants around turn into yellowish golden brown color.. And in a few months time, those living things would seem to be dead when all of their leaves have fallen down. It would be a sign that winter season will eventually take place.

Last Saturday, we attended some friends' party.. I was a bit sad coz I thought, the friend weren't coming over.. So I just sat in one corner of their living room and toyed with my cell when a familiar number called me up. My heart started to beat faster coz I know who was trying to call me. So I stood up and went outside.. "Hi! How are you doin," the person on the other line said.. Guess who the person was??? The person I'd love to see right this very moment...The person whom i miss so much..
We chatted for quite a while.. He was a bit sick.. How i wish i was by his side to take care of him.. Well, I just realized that no matter how long we've not spoken, a simple phone call from him would still send butterflies to my stomach.. (",) The fact that he remembered to call me is more than enough to compensate for the times that I thought he has completely forgotten all about me... I hope to talk to him soon again..

Yup, I'm thinking about giving up my credit card..or rather keep it at home na lang, and not put it in my wallet..Why? Recently, I have checked my account balance and believe me, I'm not happy with it. It's just that, for several months, I have been spending a lot.. I easily get tempted when i pass by some of my favorite shops. I guess having a credit card does not really help on my attempt to save. My dad and I were talking about it last night, and it made me realize more that I really am spending almost my entire salary each month. Sad, but true...

Piano updates..
My lessons are getting harder. Well at least for me.. Hahaha!! Because I don't really practice regularly. I'd only practice a few hours before my actual lesson.. Bad huh?? Would you believe that my little sister can play the Minuet and Chopsticks better than I do. And to think that she does not take formal piano lessons.. She plays by ear..

Mean Girls..

I was watching this movie on dvd the other night, and I swear, I was laughing my heart out on most of the scenes. Yeah i know I'm a loser, I should've watched this a few months back.. But i never had the time.. I'd choose Lindsay Lohan over Hillary Duff anytime.. The funniest part was during this Halloween party! Hahahaha!!!
