Christmas Afterthoughts..

Belated Merry Christmas to everyone..
I'm really sorry I wasn't able to greet each one of you..
But nevertheless, I hope everyone enjoyed on Christmas day.
It's the happiest season of all.. (",)

I don't know if all of you would agree, but after Christmas day, I felt
so emotional..I felt sad.. Probably because, there are other people in this
world who were not able to enjoy the Christmas season.. Deaths here and
there..Thousands of homeless people..And there are those who did not even
have a single penny to spend for food..

So many times I wished I were rich so I could help other people..
And just today, at work, I felt like crying when Harry, the man my
boss hires sometimes when we're short of people in the warehouse, knocked and
asked if he could work for the day. But my boss said that it wasn't really
busy in the warehouse. Harry was a man with 5 kids. And he does not work
regularly. And soon, they might become homeless because he can't afford to
pay rent anymore.. Just the thought of it breaks my heart...

And then... there's this:

Let us all pray for the victims of the ASIA Tsunami disaster...

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve was spent at the Velarde's..It was so much fun.. Lotsa food..
Crabs, shrimps, relleno, caldereta, buko pandan, fridge cake, wonton soup
and a whole lot more.. Spent the night there.. Pictures galore.. Guesstures..

Oh my God, I swear this game is so much fun.. We played it on Christmas eve.
It's like charades with a twist.. You have to let your team guess the first
word on the card and grabe it before the Mimer-Timer swallows it. You
only have seconds to let your team guess 4 words. So you have to think and
act faster. (",)

Christmas day

Attended 11:30 mass at our parish, St. Henry church.
Then the entire afternoon was spent at Sir Patrick's condo..
Magic mic, bingo, endless eating, Les Miserables..

On Christmas gifts..
For my Dad: I bought him two long sleeved polo shirts from Banana Republic
and a vintage Fossil airplane watch

For my Mom: I bought her a poncho, a sweater, and soaps from The Body Shop

For Jell: I bought her a skirt, a tank tops..

For Jam: She wanted Alicia Keys cd, so i bought her one.. I bought her a skirt as well and the nike headband she wanted.. I gave her a top as well..

For Sir Patrick, gave him perfume, and to Kuya Rommel as well..For ate JV, I gave her stuff from The Body Shop and eyeshadow pallette from Clinique. For Ritzel, I gave her basketball, wristband, and headband from Nike, based on her wishlist.. (",)

And for the presents I received this Christmas...

Personal massager,backpack from Gap, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Ragg wool from Timberland, a CD case, Pear Glace body spray, lipstick case, Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion and body wash from Bath and Body Works..
I bought myself some clothes, mittens and bonnet from Gap another leather boots from Nine West..

Thank You everyone... I'm thankful not just for the material gifts I received, but also because I spent this day with the people who mean the most to me..
I know there are so many people who wished to be with there family on this special day, but for some reasons, they were not able to.. It could have been happier for me, if I spent it as well with my relatives back home.. I know someday, we'll all be together again...
