"You" made my day

A friend surprised me with complimentary tickets for Freestyle, Jaya, and Basil Valdez's concert. (",) It was held at Pickwick theater in Park Ridge.
Freestyle performed their signature songs such as
Para Sa 'Yo, So Slow, Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang, and of course, Before I Let You Go.. Jinky also sang some foreign songs such as If I Ain't Got You and a whole lot more. Jaya's version of Chaka Khan's
Through The Fire was really amazing.. I was ecstatic to watch this concert because I know for sure, that Basil will sing one of my all time favorite songs. True enough, he didn't fail me.. (",) Intro pa lang, *kilig* na ko..
"It's your smile, your face, your lips that I miss. Those sweet little eyes that stare at me and make me say, I'm with you through all the way. 'Coz it's you, you fills the emptiness in me. It changes everything you see, when I know I've got you with me..."
And you know what's really funny? Tita Abbie saying, "You're dad has a striking resemblance to Basil.." Hahaha!!!
Too bad, I wasn't able to take good pictures..

Christmas Tree oh Christmas Tree (",)
Last Thursday, I accompanied Sir Patrick at Clark street to buy a Christmas Tree. A fresh one at that. These trees were from Michigan. There were trees of different sizes. The price ranges from $50 to $130 or in fact even more.. I think the price depends on how thick and tall the tree is. We chose a tree which was a little more than 5 feet, plus the stand, which made it 8 feet tall. (",) We thought all along that the salesperson was the son of the owner, that it was a family business. He said that it was way different from his previous job, and he just wanted to save $600 because he got laid off. I felt sad for him because he misses his family so much, and he hoped to be able to go home come Christmas time.
He was also kind enough to tie the tree to Sir Patrick's car.

The tree smells good. (",) The balsamic aroma is really calming.. I'll be convincing my dad next year to buy one.

Daddy's words of wisdom
"In life, there are no wrong choices. You just have to pray and ask for God's guidance in whatever you do. Only then, you'll never go wrong. Sometimes, you might think that I don't support you, but that is not the case. I wanted you to become independent. You and your sisters were always spoon-fed since you were young that's why you weren't really exposed to doing things on your own. When we were young, we always worked hard for what it is that we really want. And that is what I wanted to impose on you. I wanted you to realize that it feels so much better to have the things that you know you really worked hard for." -on my decision to shift to a new career.. very soon...
What more can I say??? I was teary-eyed as he said these things to me...

Very soon...
I will be facing another challenge.. I just hope I can surpass this one. It's a risk I had to take. A decision I had to make.. Please pray for me..
Peace and Love to everyone...
