[Something to gross you out] (",) These pictures were taken in our lab room last Wednesday. With the first picture, before the experiment, it was just a plane agar plate. Monday night, we chose a specific place where we could gather some bacteria, smear them on the agar plate and put them on the incubator. When we took them out last Wednesday, that was how the supposedly clear agar plates looked like. I swear it looked so yucky with those tiny dots, [cultured bacteria] And smelled awful too. So gross, i know. Hahaha.

[Confusion]numbers make me gag. really.specially when they all look like this:
4x5+12x4-8x3=4x3(x2+3x-8) 5x3+10x2+3x+6=5x2(x+2)+3(x+2)=(5x2+3)(x+2) x4-19x2+25=x4-10x2+25-9x2=(x2-5)2-9x2=[(x2-5)+3x][(x2-5)-3x]=(x2+3x-5)(x2-3x-5)i know for some these are so easy. not for me though. i wasn't born a math wizard. that's why i admire those who are really good in math. haha. i just hate anything that has to do with numbers. [must be the reason why i can't even manage my own savings.] let me do anything but solve math problems. in college, my favorites were International Marketing, Business Ethics, Anything with English/Literature or Geography. now that i'm into nursing, i enjoy chemistry, and anatomy. (",) 'bout you guys, tell me what are/were your fave subjects. (",)

[New Job Updates]
it's a wonderful feeling that i can be of help to other people, such as our patients each day. everytime i'd prep patients, i'd see to it that i don't hurt them. i enjoy what i'm doing. i'm getting excited even more with i can do, or i can offer when i become a nurse someday. sometimes, i even see my grandmothers in some of our patients. one of them looks like Mama Bernie and one of them looks like Mama Loleng. now i'm missing my grandmas even more. :) we can't help it if we do get attached to the patients. after all, it's us who make their appointments, prep them before the doctor sees them, talk to them, etc.
i also get to visit the chapel. i try to at least go there everyday to ask for God's help in everything that i do, thank Him for all the blessings and pray for all my loved ones.
but sometimes, i also miss my former job. i even visited them one time. i can still feel how much they care for me there. i just feel bad that i had to lie to them because i moved to another job.
[On typhoon Katrina]My dad's in Baton Rouge, Louisiana right now. Together with Sir Pat and Tito Vic, they are trying to gather reports whether there are Filipino victims/casualties in the area. They drove for 17 hours to get to the place. I was just talking to my dad earlier on, he said that it's heartbreaking to see people who lost their houses, belongings, properties. I can't even imagine how they're going to start all over again. :(
Let's pray for the people who were affected by the killer typhoon.

downtown wisconsin dells[On Goodbyes...]I am grateful that my dad works in DFA. [Dept. of Foreign Affairs] Yes, I get the chance to stay at different countries, learn about their cultures, meet a lot of people, but there is also a sad part.. all good things also come to their end, that's when it's time to say
goodbye... [to all the friends you've made on your several years of stay in a certain country, to break the bond you've made...]
I wish that in this life, we never have to say "goodbye." For me, it's the saddest word ever said. Just thinking about it crushes my heart. So when it's time for me to bid farewell, I would just say it in a subtle way, like, "no goodbyes, ok? just see you later, i'll see you soon.." That lessens the sad feeling of saying goodbye.

This pic was taken before my allergy attack. Man, I'm thinking that I am now allergic to anything I eat. Supposedly, I am just allergic to seafood.
