Happy New Year

There are many things I am grateful for for the past year. I may not be able to enumerate them all, but deep in my heart I am very thankful for all the blessings God had showered upon me and my family. I hope and pray that year 2007 will be more fruitful for all of us. For my first prayer for 2007, after thanking Him for a wonderful year, I asked God for humility. I asked him to help me let go of all the bitterness and pain in my heart. I lifted up everything to Him... As Janzel wrote on her blog, "...let Him be in control."

i'm so glad!!! this semester is over.

i've never been so stressed..

now i can sleep normally..

whew. it's been a very tough semester but i'm so glad i made it through.

i got an A in Child Development and a B in Nursing 101. i don't mind getting a B in Nursing 101 because i know i gave it my all. it wasn't like i was slacking off. i think everyone else in the class got a B, or if worse a C.

i haven't done my Christmas shopping yet. maybe tomorrow, or next week perhaps. i am also off from work starting the 20th. my boss is going to Jordan for their annual vacation. so yeah.. i'm really happy we are now on break. woohoo.

i miss everyone. i hope y'all are doin great.

i'm thinking of moving to multiply. what do you think? hmmmm... but i just can't leave blogger. hmmm. maybe i'll keep both. :) pictures are uploaded in my multiply.

hello everyone!!! I'm back... I miss blogging. I've been very busy these past few months, that I barely have the time to update my blog...

What kept me busy???

Nursing school.

During the first few weeks, I had difficulty adjusting to my new world.
There's just so many things to do. So many new things to learn. But I'm coping.
I passed the quizzes given to us. Midterm exam is coming up next week. I have been a regular customer at Seattle's Best, sipping vanilla latte inside the bookstore where I read my nursing book.

I am working part-time as well. I'm just so happy that my boss is flexible with my new schedule.

I wouldn't wanna complain about how busy I am right now. This is what I chose to do. I have met new friends.. And the feeling that I have somehow helped someone inside the hospital is just amazing.. However there are times when I felt like quitting.. But no.. I have worked so hard to get into the program, and I can't let it all go just like that. Prayers keep me going. And I know the Lord will lead me through till I finish this course. : )

Here's what happened these past few months...

• My parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in August.

• We went camping at Big Foot Resort in Lake Geneva.. Together with my dad's officemates.

• We stayed at Wisconsin Dells for 3 days... Fun Fun Fun!!! [Sir Pat, the Velarde's, Kuya Regil's fam, my fam, Paul and Brainy] go karts,, swimming, picnic, poker, in-between. : )

My good friend will be celebrating her birthday next week. I wish I could be there to celebrate with her.. I just want to greet you in advance.. Not that I won't be greeting you on that day ha... :) may you have many many more birthdays to come and more lives to touch.. Just remember I'll always be here for you..

at first, i wasn't really sure if i wanted to come. but then, i would have missed the fun. :) it was really AWESOME!!! i really had a great time with jhen, quy, carmen and hattaha. [pronounced as HOTTAH :)]
